Founded by Diogo Ramalho, pluto is a multidisciplinary creative practice focusing on communication, graphic design, identity, and art direction. Diogo Ramalho (Porto, 1983) is an architect, designer, curator and gallerist. He considers himself a visual composer, exploring the numerous possibilities of narrative creation. The main focus of his work is on visual communication, identity, and art direction. His eclectic aesthetic is a result of his love for research and a strong sense of playfulness. The work he develops always seeks to find the singularity, beauty, and strength of each project.

With a background in architecture, multidisciplinarity, and collaboration are essential to him. He lived in Porto, Rome, and New York, before moving to Lisbon in 2011. In 2014 he founded, with other partners, Subvert Studio, with which he still collaborates. From very early, he worked in a wide range of fields, such as architecture and interior design, exhibition curating, and all sorts of printed and digital design projects. His work as an artist has been shown numerous times, in both solo and group shows, and is also included in private collections throughout Portugal. In 2022 he opened his first contemporary art gallery, PLATO (Évora). As a curator, he is continuously presenting exhibitions, both in Plato and in other galleries.
